AMAZING 7 "the food terminators' road trip"

OKINAWA

Roadtrip without food and a fantastic host is definitely disappointing ||

Five girls one boy, and that is how we go on our graduation road trip on this little island in the south of Japan - Okinawa. Yes, there are only 6 of us on this Amazing 7 Road trip because one of the guys claimed 'he can't escape from work', well, that's just life, isn't it?

BEST FOODIES ON THE ROAD: RAMEN

島豚家 Address: Japan, 〒905-0211 沖縄県国頭郡本部町字東500−4

To be honest, I have no idea how we order such yummy ramen from a japanese menu with not a single english letter or any images. Just go with your instinct and there we got a rich flavour of grilled pork ramen.

Not to mention, another must-try appertizer from Okinawa - Umi Budo (sea grapes). You either LOVE it or HATE it, and apparently I don't like it at all as it taste too much like 'sea'.

**Remeber the 3 ways to find the perfect authentic place for #nommax food.

1. With handwriten menu or signage in their own language

2. No english menu

3. Follow your nose

Key point of the road trip, is we could determind where to go whenever we like, especially for us "food terminator' who always blink their eyes on food. We nearly stopped by every single family mart for riceball. Cause it is cheap, taste good and most importantly, it could fill up our tummy easily.

Have you ever written any Japanese in your life?

Now's the time to give it a go.

 Three ways to order sushi:

1. Pick randomly from the belt

Kinda like those luggage belts you found in the airport,     but a much smaller version which only carry sushi in

    this case.

2. WRITE & ORDER ON YOUR OWN

Simply read the menu and copy those lovely

Japanese words on to the order sheet.

Remember to indicate whether if you want any wasabi

わさび to be included. (Circle '入' for wasabi)

3. FLIRT with the chef, no jokes!

Talk to the chef and ask for today's special.

It's fresh, yum and 'once in a lifetime'.
