April 2015.

#Portugal check point one - Lagos

Picking out from the tourists' calendar, April is the best off-peak time to go on a surfing camp in Portugal. Not to hot, not to chilly.

Flying in from London with only €19 for a single trip, who could resist that!

Together with me, my #bff Jamie.L who was spending her working holiday in Stuttgart, we landed at the Fago Airport.

Q: What is Tuna Dance?

A: A dance to express Caroline's love and

fascination over tuna salad and classic

    portugese grilled-tuna.

Q: How do you do it?

A: By wriggling your arms like no one cares /

    the movement of fish.

And this was how we exchange our contacts with new surfing-friends.

To be honest, the surfing camp was REAL AMAZING. Comparing to those unstable baby waves in Hong Kong, the waves here at the Algarve Bay were enormous. Though the Zavial beach was said to be a place for professional surfer, beginners like me could easily pick up the skills.

Obviously, we came here for the 3 days surf camp, and surprisingly learning the Tuna Dance from our surf-mate Caroline.

Q: Where did the surf camp take place?

A: Zavial Beach, Lagos. - which was said

to be a beach for professional surfer.

I am definitely putting 'global surf camp' on my bucket list, probably kite-boarding would do too.

Caroline,

All the best for your future (with Tuna lol).

Best,
